THE BRIEF

The client engaged Form in a Design & Build arrangement to expand and redevelop their fruit facility in Te Puke. A significant expansion, planned for construction during the offpeak season, with the intention of faciliies being available for the next Kiwifruit season.

THE BUILD

The project commenced with a demolition of existing structures, followed by the construction of extensive additional cool storage and pre-cooling facilities. Additional loadout and canopy structures were also included in the build. An office space was constructed to accompany the loadout area, with a kitchen and staff courtyard.

An existing canopy was also re-clad as part of the project and a fire water tank was constructed to satisfy fire regulations for the building.

THE OUTCOMES

The Seeka Oakside Redevelopment was completed on time. Form continues to collaborate with Seeka on a number of projects at various sites.
