THE BRIEF

A design & build arrangement between Form and the client for the construction of a mixture of offices, retail spaces and hospitality venues in the emerging suburb of Rototuna.

THE BUILD

The builds consist of two separate blocks, both double-storey and of a similar style. Cladding consists of a mixture of brick, Alucabond ACM panels, and accents of laminate timber. Retail outlets will include cafes and resturants, a hair salon and a veterinary clinic. Commercial offices will be located on the second storeys of block A and B.

THE OUTCOMES

Works were distrupted by the Covid-19 lockdown and staged restrictions. Completion was achieved in November 2020 with programme risks mitigated by clever staging and allocaton of resources. The client, tenants and township end-users have been delighted with the facilities and the quality of workmanship within their new town centre.
