Senior Quantity Surveyor

Due to continued growth of Form and the construction industry in Auckland we are in need of a skilled professional to join the team as a Senior Quantity Surveyor

Key responsibilities include:

Contribute to a successful QS team, ensuring all projects are run efficiently
Financial reporting of projects
Project cost management, including variation claims
Liaise with suppliers and sub-contractors
Train and mentor up and coming QS's
Assist with project management, planning and coordination

Skills and experience required:

Minimum 10 years commercial construction experience
Relevant qualification in Quantity Surveying or Construction Management
Strong ability to forecast project financials
Committed to the control of project budgets and financials
A strong track record in the Auckland/NZ market

Attributes required:

Ability to train and mentor Quantity Surveyors
Ability to build relationships at all levels
Exercises initiative and able to pre-empt project costs
Strong communication skills
Attention to detail
Team Player; ability to work closely with a positive team
Existing right to work in New Zealand – preferred
