If our people are our DNA than our projects are what defines us. The end result of all the hard work, approach and application of our expertise. With fast-paced growth in the commercial sector, we’re proud of the growing list of projects with Form’s name on them.

Form has undertaken the remediation work to the Westward Park Apartments. The work involved has consisted of removing all roofing, cladding, joinery, deck tiling and plumbing.

he perimeter kitchens, timber deck structures, fire egress exterior stairwells and 80% of interior linings will also be remediated. We are installing new roofing including flashings, fascia, soft liners, roof anchors, gutters, downpipes and bathroom extracts. Form are to remediate structural issues, extending the perimeter floor slab, removing and rebuilding large sections of the external block walls to the lower ground, constructing new concrete nibs, installing Nuraply double Layer Touch on waterproofing membrane and installing new porcelain tiles to the external decks.

The project has taken longer than expected due to unforeseen issues that have been realised during the remediation process. These include the structural upgrades works and Passive Fire requirement.

The Passive Fire work in particular has been very challenging but with a collaborative approach involving Form, the Consultants and Auckland Council a successful outcome will be achieved.

“It is an unusual situation for a client to work alongside a contractor, however, our team have managed to cohesively progress through all of the usual project challenges. By engaging Form during the pre-construction stage we have been able to minimise project issues and tap into each other’s experience. Form were most helpful throughout the design phase and have carried that through to the day-to-day activities”
