An existing 7 storey apartment complex consisting of car parking to basement, levels 1 and 2 and part of the ground floor. There are 37 apartments from ground floor to level 4.

The project entails the full weathertightness remediation at 23 Upper Queen Street including new brick external cladding, new plastered concrete block, metal roofing, new aluminium joinery and an upgrade to the existing bathrooms throughout.



Programmed as a single stage, unoccupied remediation which has enabled Form to establish site protection of the full perimeter. Repairs have comprised of the removal of the exterior stucco wall cladding and the replacement of the exterior wall framing. The parapets are to be removed, redesigned and replace.


The exterior wall cladding will be replaced with brick veneer cladding in the main supported shelf angles ensuring this building and other isolated areas are brought up to current practices of weathertightness. The project is due to be completed in July 2019 and is currently in progress.
