If our people are our DNA then our projects are what defines us. The end result of all the hard work, approach and application of our expertise. With fast-paced growth in the commercial sector, we’re proud of the growing list of projects with Form’s name on them.

To construct a new high quality, architecturally designed tavern with southern design influence in an emerging suburb in Hamilton. The contractor was to execute the entire project, from construction to fitout.

The tavern, now operating as The Wayward Pigeon, is a landmark award-winning building in one of Hamilton’s fastest growing suburbs. The end result is a thoughtful and complex structure with strong design objectives. Key stakeholders included the basebuild developer, the tavern operational staff, neighbouring residential properties and neighbouring retail businesses, all of whom were involved throughout the project.

The building itself was constructed over two levels and provides indoor eating and beverage, and extensive outdoor entertainment areas. Reclaimed brick and cedar were utilised for cladding. The bold interior design includes character tiles, recycled timbers and rustic fittings.

Recently the project achieved two gold awards in the NZ Commercial Project Awards – a testament to the quality of the building and all project stakeholders.

A premium development, awarded two gold medals in the New Zealand Commercial Project Awards. Delivering on time and within budget, to an exceptional standard.
