THE BRIEF

A high profile central Mount Maunganui location was the location the Sal’s Pizza chain wished to set up their next New Zealand store. The newly constructed Mount Central building offered the perfect space for the client.

THE BUILD

The base build of the Mount Central complex was completed by Form Building & Developments and a further four fitouts were contracted to Form, including Sal’s Pizza. The fitout features the distinctive Sal’s red throughout and provides an American diner feel, with comfortable booths and casual seating. The design of the food preparation and public areas maximises the use of the small space. A series of New York streetscapes adorn the walls, providing an urban, stylish atmosphere.

THE OUTCOMES

By engaging Form during the base build process the client was able to customise some of the design to suit their requirements. Timeframes were tight and Form worked closely with the client to ensure the October delivery target was achieved.
