After successfully delivering the Auckland School bundle, Form collaborated once again with ASC Architects and BGT Structures on a Design & Build initiative for the Ministry of Education, this time in the suburb of Brookfield, Tauranga.
The objective was to implement early design based on a previous model, and construct a new 550-student primary school to replace Brookfield Primary School. Named Te Kura o Manunui, the project includes three buildings – a hall, an administration block and two classroom blocks. The architectural design of the building mirrors other schools Form has delivered for the Ministry of Education. Form leveraged local supply chain relationships and insights from previous projects to achieve cost and time efficiencies in delivering this significant educational facility in time for the commencement of the school year in January 2024.
