Form successfully undertook the design and construction of a kiwifruit storage facility for Seeka, delivering the completed building ahead of the 2016 kiwifruit season. The comprehensive project included expanding the Seeka Maketu facility by over double its original size to accommodate the rising demand for kiwifruit both locally and internationally. The critical milestone was ensuring completion before the onset of the picking season, demanding tight timelines.
The project encompassed the creation of canopies, precoolers, and coolstores, utilising concrete and insulated panels to add 4,500m² of precooling and coolstore spaces. Additionally, 1,500m² of site works were executed. Form’s success in meeting deadlines fostered a strong, ongoing relationship with Seeka, leading to subsequent collaborative ventures.
