Form and the client entered into a Design & Build agreement for the development of offices, retail spaces, and hospitality venues in the emerging Rototuna suburb. The project comprised two double-storey blocks featuring a cohesive design with a cladding mix of brick and Alucabond ACM panels with laminate timber accents. Retail establishments included cafes, restaurants, a hair salon and a veterinary clinic, while commercial offices occupied the second floors of both blocks.
Despite disruptions caused by Covid-19 lockdowns and staged restrictions, the project was completed in November 2020. Clever staging and resource allocation helped mitigate program risks. The newly established village received positive feedback from the client, tenants and local residents, expressing satisfaction with the facilities and the high-quality workmanship of the completed structure.
