$9.8 million

This project involved the removal of 18 existing prefabricated classrooms including the proper treatment of asbestos-containing materials. In their place, a new two-storey, 18-classroom block was constructed to enhance learning spaces for both the school and the community. Additionally, a new Tiger Turf field and both hard and soft landscaped areas were developed in areas where buildings were removed, with an expanded landscape scope in response to the school and Ministry of Education’s request.

A new accessible route was established to connect the proposed area with the rest of the school during completion of the final separable portion. Construction began in November 2020 and was completed in June 2022 amid COVID-related delays.

The client and consultancy team were complimentary of Form’s management of project delays. The enduring positive relationship between Form and the Ministry of Education was reinforced through collaborative efforts on this project.
