This landmark project in Northcote consists of three architecturally designed buildings, each spanning six levels and offering a total of 88 residential units. Of these, Building B specifically caters to residents aged 55 and over, with 35 one-bedroom units designed for easy accessibility.
The buildings feature a distinctive blend of exterior materials, including textured precast panels, Linea weatherboard, and Fundermax balustrading, creating a modern yet rugged aesthetic. Inside, the units were designed with acoustics and universal accessibility in mind, providing a comfortable and inclusive living environment.
The development includes 40 car parks, a dedicated community space, and has achieved a Home Star rating of 6, reflecting its commitment to sustainability and quality living. The project also received Life Mark certification, ensuring that it meets the needs of all residents, including those with mobility challenges.
Form’s efficient management of the project ensured timely completion, despite industry-wide challenges such as COVID-19 and resource constraints. The project saw the installation of 590 precast panels and 653 flat slabs, with internal and external defecting completed before Practical Completion. A strong relationship with Kainga Ora was maintained throughout, leading to the successful resolution of all client and stakeholder requirements.
