Form were engaged to construct a new trade unit development in Pāpāmoa, spanning 2,080m² and comprising 23 units in two separate blocks, complete with a new car park, retaining walls and extensive civil drainage.
The project featured concrete floor slabs and foundations, precast concrete panels for rear and intertenancy walls, and a structural steel frame. The building’s exterior showcases Colorsteel roofing, a mix of profiled metal and aluminium composite panel cladding on the front elevations, glazed aluminium joinery and impressive five-metre-high roller shutter doors.
Despite delays caused by the late issue of Building Consent and unforeseen building platform remediation works, meticulous planning and a collaborative spirit among the wider project team and suppliers resulted in the project’s completion six weeks ahead of schedule.
