Following the success achieved with Huapai Country Club M1, Form and Hoppers entered into another Early Contractor Involvement (ECI) arrangement to execute the design and construction of M2 – another high-spec aged care facility. The M2 building, seamlessly connecting to the existing M1 amenities structure, added four more storeys of retirement accommodation plus an underground car park.
Constructed with steel frame structures, double-T floors, bagged brick cladding, timber-framed exterior walls and glazed balustrades, M2 mirrors the construction of M1. The project benefited from cost savings, value engineering and insights gained from previous experiences. The collaborative efforts of a robust team carried the success from Huapai M1 to Huapai M2. The project team adhered to a timeline, ensuring the delivery of Huapai M2 to Hoppers by the end of 2023.
