Contracted by Built Environs for the complete carpentry works package at Auckland City Mission – Home Ground project on Federal and Hobson Streets, Form contributed to the construction of the nine-storey building.
This development incorporated innovative Cross Laminated Timber (CLT) structure, integrating new economic features and connections to Te Ao Māori. The project featured 80 high-density apartments, a comprehensive medical centre, and the city’s detox unit.
Form’s scope included carpentry for the CLT structure, encompassing external walls, roof, internal wall and ceiling framing, fixings, insulation for internal and external linings, as well as doors and skylights.
While preserving the historic Prince of Wales Pub facade, our team ensured seamless integration with the ongoing works, ultimately tying it back to the CLT structure upon completion. We adhered to the Main Contractor’s health and safety objectives and quality standards, delivering an exceptional result.
