Form Building & Developments delivered a five-storey extension at ACG Parnell College continuing a strong relationship with a valued repeat client. The project provides twelve new teaching spaces, an expanded PE space, administration areas and upgrades to existing plant in support of a growing campus.
Located within a tightly constrained urban site, the build was undertaken with zero-lot boundaries on all sides and no external laydown area, together with a live school environment – requiring a highly coordinated approach to delivery. Careful planning, just-in-time deliveries and clear stakeholder communication ensured the programme remained on track while minimising disruption to daily operations of the school.
The project also required complex integration within the existing building including demolition tie-ins and new service connections through the basement and existing roof, all staged around school holiday periods. The constant communication and planning ensured any emerging risks were swiftly managed and ensured momentum throughout the programme.
The extension was completed ahead of programme and on budget enabling handover ahead of Term 1, 2026 and providing high-quality additional capacity for the school’s continued growth.
