A world-class early childhood learning facility was established alongside the ACG primary school and college in Pyes Pa, Tauranga. The purpose-built centre was designed to harmonise with the surrounding architecture of the school, adhering to best practice standards in childhood learning and facilitating a seamless transition to primary schooling.
The architecturally designed centre showcases a blend of exterior cladding materials such as feature rebated precast panels, linea weatherboard, fibre cement sheeting and honed blockwork. The interior was acoustically considered, and innovative play spaces were incorporated. The design skillfully balances creative learning and play areas with safety and functionality.
The project proved to be a resounding success, as the childcare centre was completed on time for the beginning of the 2018 school year.
