THE BRIEF

Form partnered with ASC Architects and BGT Structures on this Design & Build project for the Ministry of Education as part of the Primary School Bundles of 2019. The brief is to execute early design work and construction of two new primary schools:

Paerata Primary School
Belmont-Pukekohe West Primary School

THE BUILD

The Paerata Primary School project comprises of two buildings including a Hall/Admin Block and a two storey classroom block. Structural Steel assembly is currently underway. The team is preparing for floor slab pour of the two storey block. The metal decking floor of the two storey block has been installed.

THE OUTCOMES

The project has a fixed programme to ensure completion by school year beginning January 2021. Design development changes are a known risk and Form have been keeping a keen eye on these.
Due to the close proximity of both Belmont and Paerata Schools, Form have utilised the same subcontractors across both sites to achieve efficiencies and savings both financially and in the programme.
