THE BRIEF

An ECI agreement between Form and Hoppers to deliver early stage design and construction of a high specification retirement complex. The extensive project is to be delivered across multiple stages. Form has commenced construction on M1 while others have constructed multiple villas which circulate the site.

THE BUILD

The Huapai Country Club project scope includes 12 multi-level developments; each offering three storey retirement accommodation, with offce spaces on the ground ﬂoor, apartment living on the second and third ﬂoors and basement car parking.

Stage 1 is in progress and tracking well. Materials include a steel frame structure, double T ﬂoors, bagged brick cladding, glazed porte cocheres and timber framed exterior walls. A number of villas are included within the complex as well as a communal
pool and gymnasium. High specifcation in design however thoughtful cost-saving initiatives have been used to reduce client cost.

THE OUTCOMES

Form have provided in excess of $500,000 in cost savings through value engineering to areas including balcony balustrades, carpeting, tiling, windown suites and the swimming pool.
