Projects

If our people are our DNA than our projects are what defines us. The end result of all the hard work, approach and application of our expertise. With fast-paced growth in the commercial sector, we’re proud of the growing list of projects with Form’s name on them.

THE BRIEF

Form was tasked to refit the old Māori Television building in Newmarket into a fully functional Senior Campus for ACG Education in time for the new school year in 2019.

THE BUILD

This project comprised of a fit out of a new educational facility. This two level, basement parking, 3000m2 tennancy was previously the old Māori Television studio. The fit out is to include classrooms, four laboratories, open plan offices, a theatre, a reception area, a staff hub and kitchen. The refit also includes a new ground floor toilet block, a refurbished upper level toilet block and a student common room with a kitchen and all associated services.

THE OUTCOME

Form created an accelerated programme to enable the fit-out works to be accomplished within the given timeframe. Form’s project management team communicated extensively with the client to ensure any trivialities were managed accordingly. We worked closely with our subcontractors to ensure all works were completed to the design specificification. Through Form’s responsiveness and ability to achieve specific standards, practical completion was achieved on programme and budget.

Leon Da-Silva

“It is an unusual situation for a client to work alongside a contractor, however, our team have managed to cohesively progress through all of the usual project challenges. By engaging Form during the pre-construction stage we have been able to minimise project issues and tap into each other’s experience. Form were most helpful throughout the design phase and have carried that through to the day-to-day activities”
