THE BRIEF

To provide a word-class early childhood learning facility alongside the ACG primary school and college in Pyes Pa, Tauranga.

THE BUILD

The purpose-built centre was designed in keeping with the surrounding architecture of the school. The facilities provide best practice standards in childhood learning and a seamless transition to primary schooling.

An architecturally designed centre, featuring mixed exterior cladding materials, including feature rebated precast panels, linea board, fibre cement sheeting and honed blockwork. An acoustically considered interior and innovative play spaces. The centre’s design carefully balances creative learning and play spaces with safety and functionality.

THE OUTCOMES

The project was a resounding success, with the childcare centre completed on time for the beginning of the 2018 school year. Our positive relationship with ACG continues as we look forward to other exciting projects.
