THE BRIEF

The client wished to create a large warehouse and distribution office to support its expanding operations and business in the Waikato.

THE BUILD

A combined industrial office and warehouse unit with associated car parking and a large yard space. A two-storey building, with the office space overlooking the showroom and an area for warehousing below. Roller doors open to a large open space, for storage, sales and dispatch.

The building is constructed from concrete pre-cast panels to the rear wall and concrete floors. Structural steel portal frames form the structure along with external timber framing providing a single pitch steel roof. Coloursteel iron cladding has been used along with aluminium shop front joinery to close in the exterior. Internal timber walls and a mezzanine form the office and meeting room space. A large tar-sealed yard provides more than ample storage for supplies.

THE OUTCOMES

The client was extremely satisfied with the ease of working with Form, with nothing being an imposition. The speedy progress and delivery on time and within budget were other positive outcomes.
