The quality of Form’s workmanship and finish was recognised by its peers in June when it took out five awards in the Registered Master Builders Awards.

In an award hall that the New Zealand Olympic team would be proud of, Form picked up two gold, one silver, one bronze and an overall category award.  The company sees the awards as a fitting tribute to their commitment to excellence.

Form’s Business Development Manager, Alan Winstanley was wrapt with the wins.  “The awards are mostly about workmanship and the level of finish.  They are a great independent measure for us and help us benchmark our performance.  Winning six awards confirms we really are delivering the high quality finish we aim for,” he said.

While workmanship makes up 65% of the points in the awards, design functionality and style make up the balance.  Alan believes that Form has a natural advantage in this area as well.  “We work at the top end of the market so we start with great design.”

The company won its gold awards in the New Homes from $650-1m and New Homes over $1m categories and its bronze award in the Education Project Category.  It won silver for construction of its own headquarters – the Form Building.  This building was also the overall winner in the Retail and Business Project category – a tough category in which commercial buildings like the Form building compete with very large and elaborate structures.
