THE BRIEF

The client wished to build and complete two new Kiwifruit cool stores plus related works, all within a 14 week period.

THE BUILD

Construction consisted of two new cool stores for Kiwifruit storage with associated canopies for all-weather packing and storage conditions. In addition to the cool stores, load in and load out facilities were added with connecting access ways. A plant room was also constructed.

THE OUTCOMES

Despite the tight programme, the build was delivered two weeks ahead of the scheduled completion date, within budget.
